Swisse online store is operated by Health & Happiness (H&H) Singapore Pte Ltd (hereinafter referred to as "Swisse", the “Company” or “we”). We are committed to respecting and protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy helps you understand how Swisse collects, uses, discloses, processes, and protects your personal data when you use the various services provided by Swisse. Please read these rules in detail for how your personal data is used. These rules may change at any time, so please check regularly. The Company will comply with the requirements of applicable laws and the content of these rules.  The term “personal data” refers to data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be identified from that data, or from that data and other information to which an organisation has or is likely to have access.

  1. How Swisse collects your personal data 

Swisse collects personal data from different parts of this website in a variety of ways. The collection methods are explained below. If you do not agree to these rules, please stop using Swisse services and/or website immediately. 

Providing your personal data is voluntary, unless we mark certain personal data as required under certain circumstances. If you are unable to provide us with the personal data marked as required, or if you withdraw your consent for us to use your personal data for specific purposes, we may not be able to execute your request, provide you with better product or service recommendations, or you may not be able to participate in some of our online activities. 

 Sign Up 

When you register as a Swisse online store member or check out in the Swisse online store, you will become a Swisse Club member and agree to this Personal Data (Privacy) Rules/Disclaimer of Swisse Club members. Swisse Club will ask you to provide your personal data, including your name, email address, address, phone number and child information (gender and birth date). Such personal data is necessary for us to provide you with relevant services. With your consent, we may also use your personal data for direct marketing. For further information, please refer to Article 4 below. 

 Internet activities and online surveys 

When you participate in Swisse online activities or online surveys (including sweepstakes, voting, contests or promotional activities), Swisse will ask you to provide personal data such as your name, phone number, email address, and address to facilitate the smooth progress of the activity and provide you with announcements for contests or promotional activities. With your consent, we may also use your personal data for direct marketing. For further information, please refer to Article 4 below. 

 General browsing 

In order to overall evaluate the traffic of each webpage, the user's path to Swisse and other data, Swisse will keep relevant records generated by the server when you visit the website, including the IP address of the connected device, the time of use, the browser used, browse and click data records, etc. Swisse will mark the browsers of individual users, summarize and organize the web pages browsed by the user's browser within Swisse. This function keeps your information confidential and safe.  

 Advertising link 

Please note that websites linked to Swisse may also collect your personal data. When you provide your personal data by accessing Swisse website through a linked website, these rules to not apply to the strategic alliance partners or linked websites, and the Company does not bear any liability for any harm caused by accessing the websites linked to Swisse. 

 Other 

If you write to Swisse or report your comments to the customer service center through "Contact Us", Swisse will keep your communication records. In addition, Swisse will occasionally invite users to complete surveys for internal research purposes. 

  1. Rules for sharing your personal data between Swisse and third parties 

We will share your personal data with Swisse's third-party service providers for the purposes listed below in Article 4, including service providers who assist Swisse in fulfilling your orders, managing promotional lists, online activities, online surveys and conducting market research. However, we will not share your personal data with any third party for its own direct marketing activities. Where required by applicable laws, we will obtain your consent before sharing personal data with third parties. 

When you access the Swisse website and are asked to enter personal data, unless we make a special statement, such personal data can only be accessed and used by Swisse. For example, certain promotional activities are co-organized with cooperative advertisers. In order to provide you with such promotions or activities, Swisse will share your personal data with these cooperative advertisers. If personal data is collected or protected by companies other than Swisse and Swisse's third-party service providers, Swisse will notify you before the data is collected or transmitted. If you do not want the data to be shared, you can choose not to use the service to prohibit the transmission of data. 

  1. How does Swisse use Cookies? 

In order to provide personalized services, Swisse uses cookies to store and track information about you at certain times. A cookie is a short piece of data sent from a web server to a browser and stored on a computer hard drive. You can modify your acceptance of cookies in the settings of your browser. If you choose to reject all cookies, you may not be able to use some personalized services or participate in some activities. Swisse writes and reads Cookies in your browser for the following purposes and circumstances.

Remind Swisse to confirm your identity and access your information in order to provide you with better and more personalized services. 

Estimated number of visitors: 

Each browser that reads and saves Swisse is assigned a unique cookie to determine the degree of repeated use, compares the use times of registered users and non-registered users, and assists in determining advertising targets based on user interests and behaviour patterns. In order to count the number of visitors and analyse the browsing patterns as a reference for Swisse to improve its services. 

Track your progress and frequency when participating in promotions and sweepstakes: 

When cookies are used in promotional activities hosted by Swisse, the information written into cookies indicates the progress of participants during the entire promotional process, and can be used to track the participation and status of the sweepstakes. 

Measure browsing patterns, that is, which web pages you visit, and the number of visits you have accumulated: 

We can use this information to understand whether the user habits are similar or different, which can improve your browsing experience in Swisse. Swisse will use the above information to enable you and other users to see more personalized content, advertising and promotional content in Swisse. 

Target-oriented advertising: 

Swisse will also statistically analyse the personal data collected through cookies and provide it to advertisers to match their advertising goals and deliver relevant target-oriented advertisements for advertisers. However, Swisse will not provide the original personal data collected through cookies to third parties/party. 

  1. Swisse's collection and use of personal data 

Swisse will use your personal data for purposes related to our business operations. These purposes may include: 

a) Develop, promote, sell or otherwise provide products, services or materials;

b) Fulfil your order to provide you with our products, services and/or gift certificates;

c) Provide you with our content after obtaining your consent to newsletters, or information about our products, partnerships, events, or other promotional or promotional information;

d) Maintain and update your Swisse account; 

e) Maintain, manage and improve our system;

f) Improve our website, including modifying the website based on your usage, browsing history and preferences, and diagnosing problems; and

g) Conducting internal management activities, research, analysis, planning and development projects.

Products and services, promotion          

We will use your name and contact information to contact you about our related products and services, promotions and special events. Before we take such actions, we will obtain your consent. 

As Swisse is now a member of the Health Group, if we obtain your explicit consent, we will also send you promotional information about the products or services of other Health Group affiliates. 

You can ask us to stop using your personal data for direct marketing at any time without paying any fees. When we use your personal data for direct marketing purposes, Swisse will not only indicate on the information or email that it was sent by Swisse, but also provide a method for you to stop receiving the marketing information. If you do not want to receive such emails, you only need to modify your member settings to indicate that you do not wish to receive such information and emails. 

Credit card transaction 

Swisse credit card transactions are completed by authorized banking institutions. When Swisse collects credit card information for online purchase transactions, it will process the transaction through a secure server and encrypt the transferred personal data to prevent others from obtaining such data. The personal data stored on the server is properly secured, and only authorized employees and agents who need to obtain such information in order to perform their duties can obtain such information. Your credit card information is encrypted. Once your order is sent, our system will delete the information. 

Disclosure of Personal Data Overseas  

During the course of its business operations, Swisse may disclose personal data to overseas related parties and service providers, including disclosure of such information among members of the Health Group, for one or more of the purposes set out in paragraph 4 above. These entities are located in the following countries or regions: 

Australia, New Zealand; 

Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Taiwan and other Asian countries or regions; 

Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland and other EU countries; 

The United States, Canada, Brazil and other Central and South American countries. 

  1. Swisse's safety precautions for users' personal data 

Please keep your member account details and any personal data securely, and please do not provide the aforementioned information to any third party. 

If you are sharing your computer with others or using a public computer, remember to close the browser window to prevent others from reading your personal data. 

Inevitable risk 

Once Swisse receives the information you send, Swisse will provide a reasonable level of security to protect the data stored in our systems. Since Internet data transmission cannot guarantee 100% security, Swisse cannot guarantee the security of the data you send to or received from Swisse. Although Swisse will use commercially reasonably endeavours to protect the security of your personal data, you are also required to bear the aforementioned risks.
